Back in the winters of the late 1970's and I was a young teen hanging on the word of all news reports, Our local WTAE Meteorologist, Joe DeNardo said "it would". Well something he said a few times was so critical and relevant to the "so called "blizzard of 2015".
"50 miles either way can make ALL the difference"
Yes it does and YES it did.
A 50 mile "jog" EASTWARD of Storm "JUNO" yeah YOU know.."JUNO":
took the storm of "all the ages" for New York/New Jersey, Philly from Spectacular to NON EVENT.
The unofficial Martial Law was a nice touch though. Scare the slaves into their homes. Why give then the choice?
Common Sense keeps people home but with the plethora of information it was easy to see, even by the least educamacated among us that as of midnight last night, the storm of ALL the ages was in no way gonna live up to the hype.
