 Post subject: Change in practice regarding Stop signs in Uniontown

Interesting, it seems that there has been a bit of a practice reversal regarding the use of Stop signs in Uniontown as a means to slow traffic. The signs on Coolspring Street closer towards Main street have been removed! I think they had at least 3 Stop signs on Coolspring Street apparently as an attempt to slow traffic.

I hope this is a trend that continues, as the use of Stop signs to slow traffic is asinine.

I'm glad you mentioned about the stop signs being removed because I was just on Coolspring St. the other day and thought that I ran the stop sign accidentally! I didn't think I saw one there!! Anyway, I agree, stop signs are not needed like that. Another example, the one near the end of Easy St. going toward Mt. Vernon Avenue!
