I heard this TEN years ago when I was travelling across the U.S. on vacation. The concept that "THEY" would be charging us "by the mile" to "use the privilege: of driving on the "government's roads". NOW our taxes built and maintained these roads. However your car will be tracked and traced every inch it moves.

When OBD-2 was introduced, a "hack" was available across the internet to "read" your own data. And it turns out the "BIG 3" were putting code in that could be read. Now back then it would have been BLASPHEMY to say that our private movements in our cars would be traced let alone tracked.

Well the world has changed a lot now, hasn't it.

I don't suppose that telling you all will matter, then again now that you have read this, it up to you all if you want to accept this invasion of our privacy.
