why would they have a coming home parade at 3:00 in the afternoon when all the kids are getting out of school? There would have been more people there to welcome home the troops if it were at 5 or 6 pm. I'm a Veteran and couldn't make it because i had to pick up my daughter from the school bus stop..Had it been at 5 05 6 pm i could have attended.. Only in Uniotown is nothing ever done right !!

That way the film crews could get back for the 5 o'clock news. Either that or nobody wanted to take a chance being in town after dark.

The 5 o'clock news theory makes sense, but just sounds like bad planning. That does sound like an odd time.
